Assuming he stays healthy, he'll play a full year at AA and AAA this year with a likely September callup. In 2014, he'll be a superutility backup player like Lombardozzi last year to get exposed to MLB pitching and take over as the starter in 2015. Why did he repeat AA in 2010? He's been in our system for seven years now; is that the definition of an organizational guy? He seems set to be Ramos' backup in 2014, assuming the team declines Suzuki's $8.5M option (which they probably should unless he turns into Mike Piazza at the plate). His numbers at AAA were good, and he hit well enough in the small sample size with the MLB team. Perhaps i'm underrating him slightly.
