Here’s the Washington Nationals’ newest fan!  Introducing Grant Taylor Boss, born 10/17/12.  8lbs, 3oz, 20″

No word yet whether or not he’s left-handed 🙂

We’ll see how much little Grant affects the blog here; instead of doing late-night writing we’ve already transitioned to late-night feedings.  So don’t be surprised if the frequency of updates here slows a bit.

  1. Congratulations! Canny timing, having the birth coincide with the beginning of the offseason. 🙂

  2. Congratulations Todd!

    Hot Stove League indeed.

The good news is, all future birthday parties will not conflict with the World Series. 🙂

  3. Congratulations, Todd! Mrs. Clark is pregnant, too. She’s due May 2nd, by which time the Nats will have been in first place for roughly 4 weeks 🙂

  4. Thanks! As we found out later, his birthday missed “National Boss’s Day” by one day (10/16). That would have been ironic :-).

  5. Congrats yourself! My sister is expecting right around the same time, a boy as well. So we’ll have cousin little league competitions for years to come 🙂

  8. As a proud grandpa, I’ve seen him several times now. He’s longer and heavier than most, and uses each hand equally–potential switch-hitter power prospect.

  9. At his 2 week checkup he was 35th percentile in weight but 70th percentile in height. That’s trending well towards a tall, lanky lefty hurler. I’m going with Warren Spahn as a comp for now. 🙂
